Tough, yet fun.

Keeping this up gets tough!!
Sometimes the creative spark burns down to a warm coal.
Yet here we are.

I am excited for a job interview on monday, I will be speaking to a man who sells paintings to businesses. I would earn money spreading beauty to the masses. Sounds like a great job.

I did sell my first painting ever to a guy for $80, and he asked me to illustrate his short story. I think sales could be my thing.

I wonder, do you all like my silly little poems?
They are meant to entertain and uplift, but i cannot tell whether they are working because (get ready for the guilt trip) only my dear sweet mother and my sister comment on them!

It only takes a second to validate a fellow human! :P

Maybe you are just obeying the sign:
Do not feed the Ego.

Go ahead, Break the rule. I wont tell.

Doubt

Somewhere Inside my mind,
a voice
It prods and pulls to influence choice
It talks to me, walks with me
Drives me insane
Who is this odd voice
In the back of my brain?

Sometimes I will give heed,
to it
I will often even speak with it
he's mocking me, stalking me
giving me praise
providing answers
to the questions I raise.

Just leave me alone now,
You fiend!
Hideous and Insidious You!
You insult me, revolt me!
You make me sick!
Why at my soft heart,
Do you constantly pick?

So softly he answers,
my cry,

"Quiet now, soft, and I'll tell you why
I'm part of you, It is true
I mean no ill
I'm here to advise
You still have your free will."


Then I slowly realize,

he's right!
He's Doubt who kept me awake at night
Cautioning me, Helping me,
To see the truth
and exile the Faith
who dictated my youth.


My mind has been opened,
set free!
Faith was the one who tried to own me,
called me diseased, and broken
offered a cure
Doubt helped me see
That Im worth so much more.
